Serving Ottawa and Surrounding Communities

We paint homes and businesses across the greater Ottawa region. Choose your neighbourhood below to see what the local housing stock usually needs and how we approach it.

A 1920s brick house in The Glebe and a townhouse finished last year in Findlay Creek both need paint, but they need very different preparation. Older homes often hide plaster cracks and decades of paint layers. Newer ones tend to have fresh drywall, flat builder-grade paint and nail pops that appear as the framing settles. With more than 50 years of combined experience on the crew, we plan each job around the house in front of us.

Maple City Painters is family owned, fully licensed and insured, and accredited with the Better Business Bureau. Every estimate is free and comes as a written proposal with clear payment stages. If your street isn't listed here but you're in the greater Ottawa area, call 613-890-3000 or request an estimate and we'll tell you whether we can help.

Kanata

Where our roots are. Kanata's 1960s and 1970s homes, later subdivisions and newer builds each call for a different approach to prep, ceilings and exterior trim.

Stittsville

A former village with fast-growing subdivisions. We handle older homes near Main Street, newer builds that still have builder paint, and backyard decks and fences.

Nepean

Postwar bungalows, split-levels and townhouses, many with textured ceilings and trim that has been painted many times. Careful prep and asbestos testing where needed.

Barrhaven

Newer homes and townhouses along the Jock River. Open-concept interiors, builder cabinet painting, deck and fence care, and painting for homes still being built.

Westboro

Older brick and frame homes beside modern infill, plus the shops along Richmond Road. Plaster repair, detailed trim work, exteriors and commercial interiors.

The Glebe

Early 1900s brick homes near Bank Street and the Rideau Canal. Plaster repair, detailed trim and door work, and exterior painting for porches and wood details.

Alta Vista

Postwar bungalows and split-levels on mature, tree-lined lots. Popcorn ceilings, dated interiors and exterior walls kept damp by the shade of big trees.

Manotick

A historic village on the Rideau River with estate homes on larger lots. Exterior painting, deck and fence staining, and interiors for older and newer homes.

Greely

Estate homes on large rural lots south of the city. Big exteriors, long fence lines and large decks, plus interiors with high ceilings and open layouts.

Findlay Creek

One of Ottawa's newer south-end communities. Builder paint upgrades, nail pop and hairline crack repairs, cabinet painting and new construction work.

Orleans

Ottawa's large east-end community. Popcorn ceilings and updates in 1970s and 1980s homes, plus builder paint upgrades in the newer subdivisions.
